Brief Description of POLARG Lie Detector
POLARG, standard specification TU 4389-001-49874673-02, fully complies with the medical equipment requirements and is duly certified in accordance with the GOST R National Standard, established by the Russian State Committee on Standardization, Metrology, and Certification GOSSTANDART. It does not require external power supply and can be operated under any conditions as a complete system with a desktop or laptop computer. The polygraph sensor unit is securely located in a protected casing, which precludes any radio or electromagnetic interference.
POLARG lie detector is equipped with nine sensors and is used to record information that comes in through seven different channels. It measures and records several physiological variables such as cardiovascular system status, respiration and skin conductivity, while a series of questions is being asked in an attempt to detect a lie. In addition to that, POLARG can record speech.
